August 21, 2016 By Wise Owls

College campuses around the country are gearing up as students head back to campus. College students are cautioned to take greater awareness of their safety, especially college women. Some of the necessary precautions, that may seem like simple common sense, can make the difference between college women avoiding sexual assault or becoming victims. It is imperative for students to remain in well-lit areas, walk in groups or pairs, and make their whereabouts known to others at all times. In addition, it is helpful to keep devices password protected and secure from hackers. In fact, these rules are thumb are vital for every individual, not merely college students. Hence they represent very general rules of safety for all people to abide by. Other campuses are raising awareness about proper conduct on behalf of members of its campus community. Safety on college campuses is key. It is satisfying to know that campuses are handling such matters with seriousness as well as great care.
