Spring break can be a wonderful time to take a vacation from school and enjoy a trip with friends. To insure fun and safety for all, be sure to lock up your valuables in your car or hotel safe before leaving your room. Familiarize yourself with your surroundings and the rules of the road, especially if you are in a foreign country. Call a taxi over hailing one, so that you know you are using a reputable service. Reserve your hotel room somewhere between the second and sixth floors, to prevent break-ins and to have an easy escape route in the event of a fire. Drink responsibly and never consume a drink at a bar or club that you left unattended.
